Purpose of processing personal data
Personal data is collected to manage customer relationships, for booking matters, and to provide and market Rantakalla’s services to customers.

The records contain personal data of Hotel Rantakalla’s customers, which include name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, language/country, customer group/customer number, and other relevant information related to customer relationship management, such as booking information, billing/payment information and information related to using the services.

The personal data in the customer records is collected from the data subject and obtained from partners. With the customer’s consent, their information is obtained both from them and from service bookings and purchases events. Personal data may also be collected, stored, and updated from the service providers’ records that provide the address and other contact information. Personal data is collected, for example, when the customer makes accommodation reservations and when collecting personal data from the data subject themself, for example, when filling in a request-for-quotation form.

The records are stored in electronic form behind the username and password. Personal data will be kept confidential. The use of and the access to the records in the data controller’s organisation is instructed and limited in such a way that the data stored in the records can be accessed and used only by Rantakalla employees who are entitled to do so because of their duties and who need the data to perform their duties. The personnel processing personal data have an obligation of confidentiality.
Right to access, rectification, and erasure of data
The customer has the right to check what information concerning them has been stored in the records and to have the incorrect data rectified or completed. The customer also has the right to request erasing their personal data at any time. Requests should be made in writing via e-mail to the records’ contact person. The identity of the data subject is verified before the information is provided.
